How much notice do you need for my order? I recommend one month notice for cakes and at least two weeks for cookies or cupcakes. Please keep in mind that I close orders when I reach capacity. I work on a first-come, first-serve basis. This is particularly true during holidays and wedding season. It's never too soon to book your date!
Is your facility nut-free? No. I work out of my home and occasionally bake with peanuts and tree nuts. However, most of our cake options are nut-free. If an allergy is not life-threatening, I can accommodate your order by washing and sanitizing all my equipment before baking. Please note that a trace amount of nuts may remain.
Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free or sugar-free options? I currently offer gluten-free chocolate or vanilla cake. My facility is not gluten-free certified, but I will do everything I can to avoid cross-contamination. I thoroughly check ingredient labels and sanitize my equipment.
Dairy-free frosting is an option, if requested. I use an American Buttercream, which is made with shortening instead of butter.
Please ask directly about specific sugar-free baked goods and I will let you know if it is possible for the specific dessert you are looking for.
I also offer vegan cakes in vanilla or chocolate with American buttercream. They are egg-free, nut-free, and dairy free without compromising on taste or texture!
Do you cover your cakes in fondant? Yes, if the design requires it. All fondant covered cakes will have a full layer of chocolate ganache under the fondant rather than buttercream.
